The team at a Lancashire bakery are celebrating after five of their products were shortlisted in the Great British Food Awards on their first time entering.
The success for Outpost Bakery in Eccleston comes just weeks after the company was also shortlisted as a finalist in the fourth edition of The Best Croissant UK Competition.
The Great British Food Awards recognise the very best of UK food and drink and are judged by leading chefs, critics and industry experts.
Outpost Bakery’s shortlisted products for 2026 include their Aughton Sourdough Loaf, their Ancient Grain Sourdough - both in the bread category; their Almond & Oat Granola in the Store Cupboard Essentials category; their Outpost Everything Sauce in the Table Sauce Condiments category; and their Garden Herbs & Seed Crackers in the Savoury Biscuits category.

The winners of each category will be announced at the first-ever Great British Food Awards ceremony on Tuesday October 6 at a venue to be announced shortly in London.
Outpost Bakery is an award-winning artisan bakery based in Eccleston, Lancashire, founded by husband and wife Felix Stenhouse and Katrina Bozikovic.
Felix, Katrina and Alex Bennett each have backgrounds in some of Britain's finest kitchens, including the three-Michelin-starred Moor Hall (Aughton), Trinity and Hide.
