Blackpool Teaching Hospitals make wearing masks mandatory again

All visitors are now required to wear a face mask when visiting clinical areas at any Blackpool Teaching Hospitals site.

The measure has now been made mandatory, unless medically exempt, to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 and also help protect staff and patients from the flu which is now in Blackpool and Fylde coast area.

The measures apply to Blackpool Victoria Hospital, as well as the sites at Fleetwood and Clifton.
