Headliners announced for Blackpool Winter Pride

The headline acts have been announced for Blackpool Winter Pride.

The event takes place on Saturday, February 4, inside the iconic Empress Ballroom at the Winter Gardens.

Tickets are on sale from Monday (November 7) for the event, which features Sonique, Toploader, Ultra Naté and Freemasons featuring Russell Small.

Sonique came to the public's attention as a member of dance band S'Express during the early 1990s but achieved greater success as a solo artist in the early-to mid 2000s, including the number one hit ‘It Feels So Good’, ‘Sky’, ‘I Put a Spell on You" and ‘Can't Make Up My Mind’. She won the 2001 BRIT Award for British female solo artist.

Toploader’s debut album, Onka's Big Moka, sold over one million units and peaked in the top 5 of the UK Albums Chart, where it remained for six months. It earned them four nominations at the 2001 Brit Awards. They are recognised most for the hit ‘Dancing in the Moonlight’ which became a global hit for the band.

Ultra Naté has achieved success on the pop charts with the dance anthem such as ‘Free’, as well as the hits ‘If You Could Read My Mind’, ‘Desire’ and ‘Automatic’.

English recording artist, DJ, remixer & producer, Freemasons ft Russell Small, has enjoyed huge hits including a Grammy nomination in 2007 for the Freemason’s remix of Beyonce’s 'Déjà Vu', 'Uninvited', and the 90s number one, 'Turn Around', with Phats and Small.
