A prolific shoplifter who was responsible for a string of offences against a supermarket in South Ribble has been jailed.
Paul Allen, 48, of Meadowbank, Penwortham, stole around £500 worth of goods from Booths between January and March this year.
At Preston Magistrates Court, he pleaded guilty to six counts of shoplifting and has been sentenced to 24 weeks in prison.
