Launching soon

Central Radio is your local station.  We will begin broadcasting on DAB across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast in early September 2022, followed by our launch in Preston, Leyland and Chorley by the end of 2022 and closely followed by our launch in Wigan in early 2023.

Central Radio will provide a local speech and music service for Preston and the surrounding towns and communities of Blackpool, Chorley and Wigan.  The station will features local information and a broad, varied and engaging mix of music from the 1970's to today.  Our content is aimed at people who live, work and study in our broadcast areas and our output is intended to both inform and entertain.
