An investigation is underway to establish the cause of multiple vehicle fires, after two cars and a van were found ablaze in Thornton Cleveleys.
Police were called just after 7:30am yesterday morning (Saturday 23rd March) to a report of vehicle fires involving two cars and a van on Lyddesdale Avenue and the nearby Luton Road.
They were assisted by the fire service who managed to put the fires out and no one was injured.
Police appealing for the identify of the man pictured, as CCTV enquiries have established that he was in the area at the time of the incident.
Inspector Andrew Crook of West Investigations Team said: “We’re at the early stages of our enquiries, so I’d ask anyone who has any information, knows the man pictured or saw anything suspicious, no matter how insignificant they think it may be, to make contact with us and let us know”.
