A body found in the sea on the Fylde coast has been confirmed to be missing Wrea Green man, Richard Parker.
Richard had been missing for ten weeks.
On Sunday, May 5, police received a report of a body in the sea, off the Lytham coast.
Sadly, formal identification has now taken place, and officers can confirm that that body was Richard.
His loved ones have been informed.
Richard’s death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be passed to the coroner in due course.
