Local young actor Reuben (8) is making a splash in this year’s Christmas Day Family Animation on BBC One at 2:35pm, Tiddler; as the title role Tiddler.
Reuben who is a pupil at Baines Endowed VC and who attends weekly classes at Scream Theatre Schools on Wareham Road Blackpool. Is represented by Manchester and London based talent agency Scream Management. Is the titled voice of this year’s Family Christmas Animation Tiddler.
This year’s festive animation Tiddler is based on the much-loved book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. The story follows Tiddler, a young fish who is always late to school and arrives with a different tall story every day. Until one day he finds himself caught up in a big adventure which makes him very very late for school. You can watch Tiddler on Christmas Day on BBC One at 2:35pm.
Alongside Reuben Tiddler features a star-studded cast including: Rob Brydon (Gavin and Stacey), Lolly Adefope (Ghosts), Jayde Adams (Alma’s Not Normal) and Game Of Thrones star Hannah Waddingham as the narrator.

To witness Reuben embody this character swimming on screen will be such a privilege.”
Reuben says “My favourite part of Christmas is just spending time with my family – this year I’m super excited to watch the Tiddler film on TV with them! I really like that Tiddler is fun, energetic, and a good friend to Johnny Dory because he’s just so imaginative. And I think he’s a perfect buddy for Johnny Dory.”
