A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after an elderly woman was found dead at an address in Thornton Cleveleys.
Lancashire Police were called to an address in Sevenoaks Drive at around 4am on Saturday following reports that a woman in her 80s was unresponsive.
A 60-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of murder.
He has since been released on bail pending the outcome of ongoing enquiries, and the woman's death is currently being treated as unexplained.
