Police have charged a man with manslaughter following the death of Matthew Guthrie in Lytham last year.
Officers were called to Henry Street, Lytham, on 18th June 2023, to a report of an assault.
Matthew, 25, from St Annes, suffered serious head injuries and died in hospital the following day.
A man was arrested at the time on suspicion of manslaughter and later released on bail pending further enquiries.
After consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, Lee Salthouse, 21, of Newsham Gardens, Kirkham, was today (17th June) charged with manslaughter.
He has been bailed to appear before Lancaster Magistrates Court on 5th July.
