Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a motorcycle rider was left with serious injuries following a road traffic collision in Blackpool.
Officers were called to the Promenade, Blackpool at approximately 9pm on Sunday August 23 following reports a man riding a black Kawasaki motorcycle had been injured following a collision with a white Toyota Prius.
A police spokesperson said it was reported that the driver of the Toyota attempted to turn in the road before colliding with the motorcycle rider.
The motorcycle rider, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains at this time.
The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene and was assisting police with enquiries.
