Police appeal after bike rider seriously injured in Blackpool crash

Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously injured in a road crash in Blackpool.

Emergency services were called at 3.56pm on Monday following the collision between a Ford Puma and an adapted electric pedal bike on Central Drive at the junction with Hornby Road.

The bike rider, a man in his 20s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

An investigation is under way and police are appealing for anyone with information or footage such as CCTV, dashcam or mobile footage to get in touch.
