The Splash park in Promenade Gardens, St Annes, opens its gates for the 2026 season today.
The popular water play area, which first made a splash back in 2019, returns for another summer of fun with its range of features including spray loops, water sprays, bucket drops, water domes and a paddling section – perfect for keeping the little ones cool and entertained throughout the warmer months
Designed for children aged 3-12 years, Splash will be open from 10am to 4pm, seven days a week, through to September, offering five hourly sessions daily. Sessions can be booked online up to one week in advance or on the day – with same-day sessions available for walk-in customers paying by card at the venue at the start of each session – for £2 per child for an hour of play.
Weekly sessions for children with disabilities and special educational needs are available throughout the season.
A spokesperson for Fylde Council said: “Splash is one of those facilities that genuinely brings joy to families summer after summer, and we're delighted to be opening the doors again for 2026.
‘’Whether you're a local family making it a holiday weekend treat or visitors discovering the Fylde Coast for the first time, we hope to see you there — fingers crossed for a fantastic summer!"
