Police are appealing for witnesses and footage following a serious road traffic collision in Freckleton.
Officers were called to Lytham Road in Freckleton at 9:56am on Friday 11th September following reports of a grey Seat Leon colliding with a garden wall and flag pole.
The driver of the Seat, a woman in her 70s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Sergeant Kasim Hussain, of the Roads Policing Unit said: “A woman has been left with serious injuries following this collision and our thoughts remain with her and her loved ones at this time.
"We are in the early stages of our investigation, and I am appealing directly to you, the public, for your assistance.
“If you witnessed this collision or saw the movements of the vehicle prior to the collision, particularly in the area of Lamaleach Drive, please do get in touch.
