A woman has been found dead in a pond at Lowther Gardens in Lytham.
Lancashire Police said officers were called at around 9am today, September 7, to reports of a body found in a pond at Lowther Terrace.
Emergency services attended the scene and found the body of a woman.
The area has been cordoned off as police investigate.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish her identity and her death is currently being treated as unexplained.
