The popular 1940’s weekend is coming back to Lytham this weekend. Located on Lytham Green with an array of period vehicles, costumes, and entertainment.
It all takes place on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th August. Here’s the running order for both days.
Sat 19 Aug
- 10am to 12 noon - Winston Churchill and the Mayor of Fylde judging the best dressed shops competition in the town centre and best dressed event stall.
- 12 noon - NWW2A weapons firing display on Lytham Green
- 1pm - MVT Vehicle Ride Out in Lytham
- 2pm - Hurricane flying display over the Ribble Estuary
- 2:15pm - Garrison Artillery Display on Lytham Green
- 3pm - NWW2A historical battle re-enactment on Lytham Green
Sun 20 Aug
- 11am - two minutes silence
- 12 noon - NWW2A weapons firing display on Lytham Green
- 1pm - MVT Vehicle Ride Out in Lytham
- 2pm - Hurricane flying display over the Ribble Estuary
- 2:15pm - Garrison Artillery Display on Lytham Green
