A body found in Burnley is believed to be that of a missing man.
Police were called at 4.04pm yesterday to a premises on Arch Street, Burnley, to a report of a sudden death.
Officers attended and found the body of a man.
While the body has not been formally identified, it is believed to be that of George Barnes, 59, who had been reported as missing.
His family have been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicion and a file will be passed to HM Coroner in due course.
Police said they would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal during the search for him.
