A body has been found in the search for missing Blackpool man Bruce Ford.
Following extensive enquiries, a body was sadly found on a disused footpath near the Clifton area of Blackpool this afternoon (Wednesday October 5)
While the body has yet to be identified, it is believed to be that of Bruce. His family have been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for HM Coroner.
The 77-year-old was last seen on the afternoon of Thursday September 29.
