Christmas by the sea will return to Blackpool in 2023

The very popular Blackpool seasonal attraction for Christmas will return for another fun packed year leading up to Christmas and then New Year.

VisitBlackpool has confirmed that the hugely-popular outdoor village will return for its 3rd year and promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

Last year, Christmas By The Sea, which is staged on the headland opposite The Blackpool Tower, delivered the highest visitor numbers ever recorded on the seafront during the winter months.

This year visitors can look forward to such attractions as:

The Star Flyer, one of Europe’s tallest swing rides
Free skating rink (open daily)
Dazzling light installations
Projection shows
Artificial snowfalls
Festive tram rides
Festive fairground rides - including new Snow Slide!
Christmas chalets

And of course, the world famous Blackpool Illuminations!

Christmas by the sea will welcome visitors to the resort from Friday the 17th November and run right through the festive period until 1st January 2024 (excluding Christmas Day)
