Hundreds of people slept out at Preston North End’s Deepdale stadium last night to raise money for homeless people.
More than 300 supporters took part in the Big PNE Sleep Out, with over £40,000 already pledged.
The money will support the Foxton charity, which helps vulnerable people across Preston.
Nationally the number of homelessness women living in temporary accommodation has doubled since 2011, according to Shelter and women and families now make up 60 per cent of homeless people in England.
