A month-long campaign has been launched to help people in Lancashire be better prepared for freezing weather, flooding and power cuts.
The Lancashire Resilience Forum's campaign called 'Be Winter Ready'', will give advice about how to prepare and respond to possible winter emergencies.
It will highlight the support available from organisations including the emergency services, local authorities, health bodies, utility companies, the voluntary sector and others.
“The campaign encourages people to think about the easy steps they can take to 'be prepared not scared' of possible emergency situations," said Assistant Chief Constable Gareth Lee, chair of the Lancashire Resilience Forum.
The advice and guidance will be shared throughout the month on the Lancashire Resilience Forum website HERE and on the Forum’s LinkedIn and Facebook channels.
