Police have charged a man following a burglary and attempted burglaries in Nelson.
It relates to incidents in the Nelson area on the 19th May 2025.
Following extensive enquiries from the East Burglary Team, a 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary on Wednesday 18th June 2025.
Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service we can now tell you that Lewis Wilkinson, 27, of Pendlemist View, Colne, has since been charged with burglary in a dwelling, four counts of attempted burglary, and burglary other than a dwelling.
He appeared at Blackburn Magistrates Court on the 19th June 2025 and has been remanded in custody to appear at Burnley Crown Court on 17th July 2025.
