Police have charged a man following the discovery of a substantial cannabis farm in South Ribble.
They were called to Highfield Grove in Lostock Hall just before midnight on Saturday (23rd March , 2024) following reports of suspicious activity.
On arrival, officers discovered around 400 cannabis plants in a number of rooms in the property. There was also evidence that the electricity had been bypassed. A 20 year old man was arrested at the scene.
Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, Orgit Arapi, 20, of no fixed abode has been charged with production of a controlled drug and will appear in court today.
