Blackburn with Darwen’s Mayor Cllr Brian Taylor will hold a second charity quiz night on Thursday.
All money raised will go towards his two Mayoral charities, which are Cardiac Risk in the Young and Papyrus Prevention of Suicide in the Young.
The event, christened ‘The Mayor’s last Stand’, will start at 7.30pm.
It will be at Edgworth Cricket Club, behind the Barlow Institute, on Bolton Road.
The entry fee is £5 per player for teams of up to four players.
It follows his Mayor’s Ball at Blackburn Cathedral on Friday, April 4 and an earlier Charity Quiz on Friday, March 14 at 7.30pm at The Hare and Hounds in Lammack Road, Blackburn.
Darwen West ward’s Cllr Taylor’s year as first citizen ends in May.
