Dave Fishwick, the Burnley businessman behind Netflix’s Bank of Dave, has stepped in to help a local hospice charity after its shop was damaged.
Windows at the Pendleside Hospice store on Keirby Walk were smashed in a break-in on Thursday.
Mr Fishwick praised staff for their work and pledged to pay for the repairs, saying Bank on Dave would “take care of it”.
Police have since charged a Burnley man with burglary with intent to steal.
