Preston midfielder Jordan Thompson has been given a three-match ban after kicking a water bottle that hit a Norwich City fan.
The incident happened last weekend in his club's 2-nil defeat at Carrow Road, as the 29-year-old was heading to their the bench after being substituted.

Thompson will now miss their Championship games against Stoke, Leicester and QPR.
Preston boss Paul Heckingbottom called the incident "really unfortunate".
