A long-running Preston nightclub has closed temporarily ahead of a possible rebrand.
Popworld on Church Street shut its doors last night after more than a decade in the city centre.
The venue first opened in 2013 after replacing Reflex.
Owners say it will reopen soon under new management with a “brand-new offer.”
In a statement on social media, the club said: "While it’s farewell from our current team and the end of Popworld’s chapter, a new era begins soon. After a brief closure, the venue will reopen under new management with a brand-new offer, continuing to serve the community for many more years to come."
"The new team look forward to welcoming you back very soon."
