A padel club in Nelson says it’s seen more than a hundred players taking to the courts in the early hours during Ramadan.
Pendle Padel Club has stayed open 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays so members of the local Muslim community can play after breaking their fast.
Managers say the late-night sessions between midnight and four in the morning have been hugely popular.
The club, which opened last August, says it hopes to repeat the initiative every year.
