A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a teenage girl was stabbed near Nelson.
Lancashire Police say the 17-year-old was attacked in Wood Street, Brierfield, yesterday afternoon.
She remains in hospital, but her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Officers are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with CCTV or doorbell footage, to come forward.
