Police have arrested two men after a substantial amount of cash was discovered in a car which had been travelling on the M6 near Preston.
Officers from the Special Operations Unit signalled for a Jaguar to stop near to the Tickled Trout Service Station at around 8.30pm last night (Tuesday 7th May, 2024).
Following a search of the vehicle, cash worth around £35,000 was discovered.
Two men aged 32 and 36, from Merseyside, have been arrested on suspicion of money laundering. The 36-year-old is also under arrest on suspicion of human trafficking.
Both are currently in custody awaiting questioning.
