Two children and an adult have been rescued after being cut off by the tide at Blackpool South Pier.
The RNLI says the children were found in the water, clinging to one of the pier’s support posts on Thursday evening.
They were pulled into an inshore lifeboat and taken to waiting paramedics.
Blackpool RNLI says they were very lucky.
