Two men have been charged, after police received reports of a number of burglaries and attempted burglaries in Blackburn.
They received the reports in the Little Harwood and Audley areas of Blackburn between 24th February and 2nd March 2025.
Following an investigation by the East Burglary Team, on Monday 3rd March a 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary in a dwelling.
Ryan Price, 27, of no fixed address has been charged with three counts of burglary of a dwelling, nine counts of attempted burglary, four counts of theft of a motor vehicle and escaping lawful custody. He has been remanded to custody.
Garry Duckworth, 29, of Whitebirk Road, Blackburn, has also been charged with burglary of a dwelling and five counts of attempted burglary. He has been released on bail. Both will appear at Preston Crown Court on 2nd April 2025.
