Enjoy a night to remember at dazzling Regenerage charity ball

The Regenerage charity ball is always a fantastic night!

An unforgettable night awaits you at a glittering charity ball of elegance and entertainment - and all in aid of a great cause.

Get ready to celebrate at the Regenerage Charity Gala Ball on Friday March 27 at the Barton Manor Hotel and tickets are on sale NOW.

This glamorous evening held at the beautiful four-star hotel in Barton, Preston offers superb entertainment, the finest gala dinner with wine on tables, a charity auction and a raffle full of exclusive prizes before the night rounds off with dancing.

The annual Regenerage black-tie event is where local businesses, charity patrons, supporters, community VIPs, charity staff and trustees come together.

The event will showcase the successes and highlights of the last 12 months, and demonstrate the impact and social value that the charity has created within the local community.

WHAT IS REGENERAGE?

Regenerage has been established for more than 40 years and is proud to be recognised as leaders in providing much-needed services to older people and their carers.

It began as Age Concern Preston in 1981. In 1987 the name changed to Age Concern Preston and South Ribble District, then in 2009 became Age Concern Central Lancashire.

Now, as Regenerage, the team remains committed to its mission of supporting the community and encouraging healthy aging, with even more energy and dedication.

The charity's mission is to work with and for older people, enriching their lives and supporting them to live well and independently.

Over its 40-year history, the charity has:

  • Spent £42,400,000 on charitable activities in Lancashire supporting older people
  • Supported over one million people
  • Received support from over 11,000 volunteers contributing over 1.2 million volunteer hours to the charity, equating to over £10.6 million pounds
  • Secured over £10 million in benefits for older people that will have been spent within the local economy

The work Regenerage delivers is vital to the community. Social isolation and loneliness have a profound impact on both mental and physical health, particularly for older adults. By offering accessible activities and meaningful opportunities for engagement, the charity not only improves wellbeing but also reduces pressure on wider health and social care services.

Looking ahead, Regenerage’s goals are focused on sustainable growth and deeper community impact. This includes strengthening intergenerational partnerships and ensuring long-term programme sustainability. The charity is also committed to continuing to listen to the voices of older people, ensuring that future services are shaped directly by those who use them.

Support for local charities is absolutely critical. Community organisations like Regenerage operate at the grassroots level, responding quickly and directly to local needs. Funding enables charities to deliver essential services, and provides stability, innovation opportunities, and the confidence to plan for the future.

By supporting Regenerage you send a powerful message; that older people matter and community wellbeing matters.
