Organisers have launched a crowdfunder to help secure the future of the 2026 event in Preston’s Miller Park.
The team behind Lancashire Festival ’26 are calling on the public to help fund this year’s event as it prepares to celebrate its tenth anniversary.
The family-friendly festival, which takes place on Saturday 25 July 2026 in Miller Park, Preston, has grown over the past decade into a showcase for grassroots arts, music and local culture. Now marking ten years since it first began, organisers say this milestone year is their most ambitious yet.
To help cover core event costs, including staging, sound, lighting, security and infrastructure, the festival has launched a crowdfunding campaign via Spacehive. The total target is £3,464, with support pledged so far helping build early momentum.
Crucially, the campaign has secured conditional match funding from the Lancashire Culture & Sports Fund. If organisers raise 60 per cent of their target through public pledges, the fund will contribute up to 40 per cent of the overall total. Festival directors say that unlocking this additional support will be key to delivering the full programme planned for the anniversary year.

Residents and businesses can contribute from as little as £2, with every pledge helping bring the event closer to its target. Supporters will also be entered into a draw to win a VIP Festival Package for the day.
Lancashire Festival ’26 promises a packed line-up including live music, circus performers, family attractions, workshops, market traders, street entertainment and a licensed bar. Headline act The Lavelles will top the bill, alongside a range of local performers and community groups. The event will once again support St Catherine’s Hospice, continuing its commitment to local causes.
Organisers say the festival has always been rooted in community spirit, giving a platform to Lancashire talent while creating an accessible day out for families. As it celebrates ten years, they hope the public will help ensure the festival not only returns this summer but continues for years to come.
