People from Lancashire have been recognised in the King's New Year's Honours List for their work across the county.
They include Dr Lynne Bernadette Barnes, principal lecturer in British Sign Language and deaf studies at the University of Lancashire in Preston, who has been recognised with a CBE for services to education.
Lisa Marie O'Loughlin from Lancaster, Principal and Chief Executive Officer at the East Lancashire Learning Group, was made a CBE for services to Further Education.
