More than a hundred cannabis plants have been seized and a man has been arrested after a cannabis farm was discovered in South Ribble.
At around 1pm on Friday 19th June 2026, officers from South Ribble’s Neighbourhood Policing Team and Task Force executed a warrant at an address on Westmorland Close, Penwortham.
A total of 125 cannabis plants were seized from the property, all at varying stages of growth, along with heat lighting, fans and filters.
A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation and abstracting electricity. He has since been released on conditional bail until 19th September 2026.
