Officers have seized three off-road bikes and a quad bike which were being driven in an anti-social manner.
Police were called at around 4.20pm yesterday (Sunday 16th February, 2025) to reports that multiple off-road vehicles were being driven dangerously around the Moor Park area.
Officers from the Road Crime and Road Policing Units deployed to the area and managed to locate the vehicles near to Brockholes Brow. All four were seized and the riders issued with section 59 warnings.
Inspector Dave Byrne from Preston’s Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “Off-road vehicle nuisance is something that has been raised as an issue by our local communities so it’s great to see that these vehicles have now been taken off our streets and are no longer able to cause issues for those living in the area.
“We will continue to tackle the issues and concerns raised to us by our residents and I would encourage people to report these sorts of incidents to us so that we can work to address them.
