A man has been jailed for stealing designer clothing from a store in Preston.

It relates to an incident at Tessuti in Preston on Friday 19th December 2024 where two jackets worth around £800, were taken from the store.

Last week, following multiple enquiries, Gary Stock was arrested by the Preston City Centre Neighbourhood Policing Team and was charged with theft from a shop.

Operation Vulture is Lancashire Constabulary’s response to shoplifting across the county, backed by Lancashire's Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw.

The operation sees dedicated officers undertaking hotspot patrolling, increasing their visibility in targeted areas and creating strong partnerships with retailers across the county to better share intelligence, get a deeper understanding of retail crime and identify more offenders.
