Blackpool Comedy Festival Returns for 2024

Following the success of the launch of 2019’s ‘Blackpool Comedy Festival’, Winter Gardens Blackpool, Manford’s Comedy Club and Showtown Blackpool have announced the festival will return to the home of British comedy in July 2024 with an all-star line-up.

Hosted by some of the best-known faces from the UK comedy circuit, the show will be part of a week of non-stop entertainment in the resort.

The second festival planned for the summer of 2020 was stopped in its tracks when the covid pandemic hit the country and had to be cancelled as the country went into lockdown.

Now that it’s firmly back on the map, the comedy festival is planned to become a regular fixture on the Blackpool calendar.

On Saturday 13th July Jason Manford will be joined by Paul Sinha, Dara O’Briain and Kiri Pritchard-McLean.

Jason Manford says: “The first ever ‘Blackpool Comedy Festival’ was a great success and so much fun, I’m delighted to see it returning to the Vegas of Britain! We’ve got some top names lined-up and I can’t wait to be back. See you on the beach!”

Michael Williams, Managing Director of the Winter Gardens Blackpool, said “Blackpool Comedy Festival was a brilliant new addition to our programme featuring some of the best live acts in the UK. It’s fantastic that it will return for 2024 and tickets will sell fast for the diverse range of shows highlighting some of the UK’s best talent.
