Man seriously assaulted in Blackpool

Police are investigating a serious assault in Blackpool.

Officers were called to Devonshire Square, Blackpool, at 10pm on Saturday following reports a man had been found in the street with a serious head injury having been assaulted inside and outside a public house.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Nobody has been arrested at this time. Enquiries are ongoing and this is being treated as an isolated incident.
