Cannabis grow discovered in Preston

A cannabis grow was discovered at a property in Preston earlier this week.

On Monday (January 22), as a result of information form the local community, officers from the neighbourhood policing team located the grow at a property on Clara Street which contained around 60 plants.

Evidence was also found that the electricity had been bypassed.

A 41 year old man from Blackburn was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and abstracting electricity.

He has since been released on bail whilst investigations continue.
