A man has been arrested after a police drugs raid in Fleetwood.
Officers executed a Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at an address on Warrenhurst Road on Friday.
During the search, a quantity of Class A drugs and a considerable amount of cash was recovered.
A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He has been released on bail pending further forensic enquiries.
“We know drug dealing has a huge impact on our communities, and we want to reassure residents that we will act on information, and follow through with the necessary actions, such as a warrant,” said Andy Ward, Task Force Sergeant.
“This warrant was executed as a part of our involvement in the Government’s Clear, Hold, Build framework.
“We will continue to work hard to clear any and all criminal activity in Fleetwood, whilst joining forces with partners to ensure that Fleetwood is an unwelcome environment for criminals.
“I would urge anyone with information to report it directly to us, or anonymously via Crimestoppers. We take reports of serious and organised crime very seriously we will not tolerate such criminality in our area.”
You can report suspicious activity anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, or via the Lancashire Police website.
