Voting is now open for the Fylde Coast Community Awards, giving residents across the area the chance to recognise and celebrate the people, businesses and organisations making a real difference in local life.
Organised by the Fylde Kids Foundation, the awards shine a spotlight on community heroes – from grassroots charities to independent traders – and provide a platform to showcase the extraordinary work taking place across the Fylde Coast every day.
The awards are supported this year by a new partnership with Central Radio North West, the independent local radio station which broadcasts across Blackpool, Wyre, Fylde, Preston and beyond.
Steven Normyle, Director of Central Radio, said:
“We are thrilled to support local communities by recognising those who are making a real difference in our area. Central Radio is proud to always support local, as we are an independent radio station ourselves with a strong commitment to provide great music, local independent and unbiased news reporting, and to champion the communities around us. That’s why we are delighted to be a sponsor and supporter of the Fylde Kids Foundation Awards.”

Residents are encouraged to get involved and show their support by casting their votes online. Each person may vote once per category, with voting closing on 18 October 2025.
The Fylde Kids Foundation, registered charity number 1207265, works year-round to support children across the Fylde Coast by providing practical help, opportunities, and partnerships with schools, clubs and community groups.
