Preston’s Vault Youth Zone has announced a series of holiday clubs throughout August.
Vault’s holiday club offers a safe, fun environment for young people to have summer adventures with their friends.
Holiday Club takes place every Tuesday to Friday throughout August and runs from 9am until 3pm. It costs £16 per day and as well as a whole host of entertaining activities, the cost also includes a hot, healthy meal.
Vault:Unlocked, Vault’s dedicated session for young people with additional needs also has special summer sessions taking place each Monday in August from 9am until 3pm.
During Vault’s Holiday Club there will be plenty of enrichment activities to take part in. For young people who are into sport, Vault has a sports hall with everything from basketball to cricket then anyone with a head for heights can try out the climbing wall.
Anyone feeling creative can hang out in the arts and crafts room or get tuneful in the music room.
Rebecca Donnarumma, Holiday Club and Inclusion Youth Work Coordinator, said: ‘“We are so excited to launch our very first holiday clubs at Vault. This will give young people across Preston the opportunity to take part in fun activities and enjoy a healthy meal throughout the summer holidays.
‘’Our holiday clubs are great value for parents but we are also offering places through the HAF scheme which means that young people on free school meals can also access Vault through the summer for free.”
Places for Vault Holiday Club and Vault:Unlocked Holiday Club can be booked in advance at https://www.vaultyouthzone.org/young-people/holiday-club/
Vault is also running HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) events which are for any young people who receive free school meals and run at the same times as Holiday Club.
Places for this can be booked at www.holidayactivities.com/how-it-works/recipients/
