Blackpool has been named the UK’s number one seaside staycation destination, according to a new study.
The coastal town beat the likes of Brighton, Newquay and Llandudno to bag the number one spot.
Researchers analysed 26 UK seaside towns and ranked them on key entertainment factors including the number of amusement parks and live music venues.
