Strike action by Stagecoach bus drivers in Preston and Chorley has been suspended.
Unite members were due to walk out for a week from Monday, with another stoppage planned in October.
The dispute centred on claims Stagecoach drivers were earning £2.13 less an hour than Arriva colleagues.
The company said its previous offer would have delivered a 40 percent rise by 2026.
Unite says drivers will now vote on an improved offer – meaning buses will run as normal.
