Book lovers in Chorley are being notified that one of their local libraries is temporarily closed for essential repair works.
The library is currently closed. It is hoped that these repairs will be completed by Sunday, 30 June.
Customers are being reassured that all books on loan will be automatically renewed while the building is closed.
Alternative libraries nearby include Adlington, Clayton Green, Coppull, Eccleston, Euxton and Leyland. Library members can also access the Digital Library which includes eBooks and eAudiobooks plus our eReference library.
Kathryn Boothroyd, Libraries and Heritage Manager at Lancashire County Council, said:
"We're very sorry for any inconvenience that this closure may cause.
"There are a number of alternative libraries nearby that are still open, as well as our online services. We will update our website as soon as we know exactly when we're able to reopen."
