Lytham Festival: 'Adverse weather' causes Friday night to be cancelled

Strong winds saw last night's performances at the Lytham Festival cancelled.

In a statement, organisers said the decision had been taken because of "adverse weather conditions".

Alanis Morrisette was due to headline. All customers will receive a refund.

The festival continues until tomorrow with Justin Timberlake headlining this evening and Simple Minds and Texas performing tomorrow.
