The co-founder of Lytham Festival is calling for extra late-night rail services after next year’s closing show.
Peter Taylor says not having a final train from Lytham to Preston on Sunday 5th July remains “the fly in the ointment” for the five-day music event, which attracts more than 100,000 people.
Northern says it adds carriages for some events, but running extra trains on the single-track South Fylde line is “challenging”.
Headline acts for 2025 include The Pet Shop Boys and US singer Teddy Swims.
