A man has been charged with the attempted murder of a toddler in Blackpool.
Police were called around 8.15am on Wednesday (December 7) to a report of an assault at an address in Brun Grove, Blackpool.
Officers attended an address and found a two-year-old with facial and neck injuries.
He was taken to hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged and is back home with his family.
A 28-year-old man from Manchester was later arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and has now been charged.
Lewis Prince, 27/12/93, of Browning Road, Swinton, Manchester, has been charged with attempted murder, assault and driving offences.
He was due to appear before Blackpool Magistrates’ Court today (Friday, December 9th)
